Change of dates for the next edition of the World University Summer Games. FISU announces that it has postponed the event by a little over a week. It was scheduled to take place in Chengdu, in the Chinese province of Sichuan, from August 8 to 19, 2021. It will finally be held from August 16 to 27. A decision justified by the desire of FISU and the organizers not to compete with the world athletics championships, scheduled for August 6 to 15, 2021 in Eugene, Oregon. With this change, the two events will follow each other, one starting the day after the other ends.
