Bouramah Ali Harouna has passed away

Sad news for the African sports movement. Bouramah Ali Harouna, secretary general of the Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports of the Francophonie (CONFEJES), died Monday August 3 in Dakar. The Nigerien leader, in office since 2013, began his career at the Ministry of Youth of Niger, before taking a more international turn and joining CONFEJES in Senegal. He was also a member of the Orientation Council for the Francophonie Games. As such, Bouramah Ali Harouna was very involved in the preparation of the next edition of the sporting and cultural event, scheduled for Kinshasa, in the DRC, during the summer of 2022.
