Scott Blackmun, the executive director of the American Olympic Committee (USOC), is unanimous in his country. The USOC general assembly, meeting last weekend in Colorado Springs, voted to extend his contract for an additional six years. A decision accompanied by an option of four more years. Scott Blackmun, who joined the USOC in January 2010, is therefore offered the opportunity to stay in his position beyond the 2024 Games.
