Thomas Bach will be present in Aarhus this week for the SportAccord 2017 Convention. The IOC President must take the opportunity to meet with the mayors of the two cities in the race for the 2024 Games, Anne Hidalgo for Paris and Eric Garcetti for Los Angeles. But the IOC clarified in a statement that it would only be a “routine meeting”. Not sure. The two interviews should revolve around the question of a possible double vote 2024-2028 during the next IOC session. Anything but a routine subject.
