The Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee (COA) does not forget its history. He celebrated in Algiers, Saturday October 11, the 50th anniversary of the first participation of an Algerian team in the Olympic Games, in 1964 in Tokyo. The ceremony brought together the Algerian flag bearer at the Tokyo Olympics, Mohamed Yamani, and the former president of the COA, Mustapha Larfaoui. A film retracing Algerian participation in the different editions of the Olympic Games was presented to the guests.
