Nothing is stopping the Chinese. Determined to gain more and more influence in the international sports movement, the Chinese Olympic Committee opened an office in Lausanne. It was inaugurated at the end of last week, in the presence of Thomas Bach, the president of the IOC, and Gou Zhongwen, his counterpart from the national Olympic committee.
