The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is continuing its development on the Asian continent. It is not alone. The body has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement for the construction of an international slalom center in Ulsan, a South Korean city of nearly a million inhabitants, located in the southeast of the country. It was concluded with the local authorities, the Korean federation and the Canoeing Confederation (ACC). The objective: to strengthen the presence of canoeing in South Korea. In addition to serving as a high-performance training center and a site for national and international competitions, the new facility will house the ACC headquarters. Partly financed by the city of Ulsan, it should be completed in 2028.
