Great recognition for the IPC. The documentary series "WHO I AM Paralympics", the result of a collaboration between the Paralympic body and the Japanese television channel WOWOW, is nominated for an Emmy Award. It is in the sports documentary category. The trophy ceremony will take place on November 25 in New York. Launched in 2016, the series tells the daily life, preparation and journey of several Paralympic athletes. Its last season, broadcast in January 2023, has three parts, dedicated respectively to the German swimmer Elena Lrawzow, the Norwegian sprinter Salum Ageze Kashafali, and the Japanese wheelchair basketball player Renshi Chokai. In 2018, the second season of the series was already nominated for an Emmy Award in the documentary category. WOWOW recently announced the launch of the third season of the program in December.
