On the occasion of the annual general meeting, organized in Cairo, Egypt, the American Peter Lasusa was elected to the position of vice-president. He succeeds the Irishman Gar Holohan, who has reached the end of his 2-year mandate. Australian Sarah Fitz-Gerald, five-time world champion, was re-elected without opposition for a second term as vice-president. The two positions of vice-president, and that of president, currently occupied by the Frenchman Jacques Fontaine, will be renewed in 2020.
