The International Cycling Union has decided to consult the general public to find out their opinion on the attractiveness of road cycling and their expectations regarding its future development. An online survey allows interested people to give, by Tuesday July 16 at the latest, their opinion on the points which would make it possible – or not – to make road cycling even more exciting: use of headsets by the teams and their riders, recourse to power sensors in competition, size and budget of teams, format of events, method of broadcasting events or information given during races... The survey will be available in eight languages: French, English, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, German and Italian. Clarification: participants will be able to win by draw a three-night stay for two people at the 2019 Road World Championships in Yorkshire (Great Britain) with VIP access to the hospitality areas, as well as World champion jerseys signed by of the winners of the 2019 edition.
