A sixth term for Kasper

Ski

A formality. But also a form of plebiscite. At 74, Swiss Gian-Franco Kasper was re-elected this Friday, May 18, president of the International Ski Federation (FIS), during the organization's annual congress in Costa Navarino (Greece). The only candidate to succeed him, he won a sixth term by acclamation. Also a member of the IOC, Gian-Franco Kasper has chaired the FIS since 1998, after serving as its secretary general for almost a decade.
