Good news for World Athletics: Netflix will offer a sequel to its SPRINT series next year, dedicated to the fastest athletes in the world. Jon Ridgeon, the executive director of the body, confirmed this on Thursday August 1 in Paris. Filming for season 2 is currently underway and should continue until the end of the Paris 2024 Games. The broadcast dates are not yet known, but Jon Ridgeon anticipates them for the start of 2025. Released last June in a six-episode format, SPRINT is in the top 10 of the streaming platform's most watched programs in more than fifty countries around the world.
