Revolution in the world of the fight against doping. A team of researchers presented in the United States, at a conference of the American Chemical Society (ACS), a new test which would, according to the BBC, be 10 to 1000 times more effective than current methods of screening for prohibited products. This technique, called PIESI, uses a chemical agent capable of making traces of steroids and amphetamines more visible at the time of analysis.
