World Table Tennis (WTT), the commercial and events arm of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), has unveiled the WTT Series calendar for 2025. It promises to be a record-breaking year, with four Grand Smash events at the top of the pyramid, six WTT Champions tournaments, plus the traditional WTT Finals at the end. The four Grand Smash events – a number never before seen since the WTT Series was created – will take place in Singapore from January 30 to February 9, then in Las Vegas from July 3 to 13, at a location yet to be determined from August 14 to 24, and finally in Beijing from September 24 to October 5. The six WTT Champions ranked tournaments are scheduled to take place in Chongqing (China) from March 11-16, Incheon (South Korea) from April 1-6, Japan from August 7-11, Macau from September 9-14, Montpellier from October 28 to November 2, and Germany from November 3-9. The season will conclude with the WTT Finals from November 25-30, where the top 16 singles players and the top 8 mixed doubles pairs will be invited. The host city will be announced shortly, the ITTF explains.
