The standoff between the international surfing federations (ISA) and canoe-kayak federations (ICF) over the governance of stand-up paddleboarding is far from over. As proof, the announcement by the second of the two organizations of the launch of a new streaming platform intended in particular to broadcast the next stand-up paddle World Championships, scheduled for this year. Launched and managed by the Swiss agency H&A Media, based in Lausanne, it is domiciled in China. The platform will also offer Internet users the various ICF-branded events organized in China in 2019 and 2020, in the disciplines of marathon, slalom and dragon boat. Streaming will be available for free via the channel Huya TV, one of the fastest growing digital platforms in China today.
