A Pierre Mauroy stadium

Football

The Grand Stade de Lille, where LOSC plays, should soon be called “Pierre Mauroy stadium”. This wish, expressed by the president of Lille-Métropole, Martine Aubry in front of her executive office, must be the subject of a deliberation this Friday afternoon. This ultra-modern venue with 50.283 seats, which opened its doors in the summer of 2012 and has since hosted LOSC home matches, has been selected to host Euro 2016 football matches in France.
