General Boubacar Baba Diarra was elected president of the Malian Football Federation (Femafoot) for a four-year term. In the 2nd round of voting, Boubacar Baba Diarra obtained 29 votes while the other candidate, the outgoing president Hammadoun Kolado, in office since 2009, obtained 25 after the vote of the 55 delegates (one invalid ballot), during the elective general assembly held Tuesday in Mopti (670 km north of Bamako).
