No bad surprises for Gianni Merlo. The Italian journalist was re-elected as president of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), during the elective general assembly, organized in Seoul. With no rival for the position, he returned for a fourth term of 4 years. The Turk Esat Yilmaer was also re-elected for the position of first vice-president. For his part, the Croatian Jura Ozmec was chosen to replace the Austrian Michael Kuhn as treasurer of the organization, a position for which he was the only one in the running.
