The habit is becoming a tradition. Like the last editions, the next SportAccord Convention, organized from April 2 to 7, 2017 in Aarhus, Denmark, will include a plenary session devoted to the media. Called MediaAccord, it is scheduled for Wednesday April 5, between 14 p.m. and 17:30 p.m., at the Scandinavian Center. Discussions and exchanges will be dedicated to innovation, the central theme of the SportAccord 2017 Convention, in particular to how a sport can benefit from novelty, whatever its size or media presence. Among the speakers announced, the Canadian Greg Stremlaw, director of CBC Sports, and the American Mark Parkman, general manager of the IOC Olympic Channel.
