After the nominees, the International Skating Union (ISU) revealed the composition of the jury for its annual figure skating and ice dance trophies – ISU Skating Awards – for the year 2023. As announced, it brings together six former champions of the discipline, with respect for parity (3 men and 3 women) and a certain geographical balance (six countries and three continents represented). Chaired by Gyorgy Elek, member of the ISU Council, the jury is made up of the Canadian Eric Radford, the Finn Kiira Korpi, the Japanese Miki Ando, the French Surya Bonaly, the British Christopher Dean, and the American Todd Eldredge. After the public and media vote, organized from December 15 to 31, 2022, to nominate three nominees in the six categories, it is now up to the jury to decide on the final choice. It will be announced on February 5 during the gala evening in Zurich of the ISU Skating Awards.
