The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has decided to give the Paralympic World Tour a facelift. It has announced that it has completely revised not only its calendar and organization, but also its image. Starting next year, the new Para table tennis circuit will offer three levels of tournaments: Future for the discipline's hopefuls, Challenger for the intermediate stage, with eight competitions per year, and finally Elite at the top of the pyramid. In total, the 2025 calendar will feature more than 20 events around the world, a number never before seen in Para table tennis. At the same time, the World Tour will have a new logo. Finally, the world rankings are also being modified, with points being awarded based on performances at each event, with updates on a weekly basis.
