Very busy week for the Paralympic movement. No fewer than 500 delegates are expected in Germany, starting this Tuesday, October 22, at the headquarters of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The organization chaired by Brazilian Andrew Parsons is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its creation and the 20th anniversary of its establishment in Bonn. The festivities begin this Tuesday with a meeting of the IPC board of directors. They will continue in particular with a gala dinner, Thursday October 24, at the Kameha Grand Hotel in Bonn. The following evening, the evening will be marked by the presentation of the 2019 Sports and Media Awards. They will recognize the best athletes, teams and performances of the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. The IPC will then hold its annual general assembly, during of the weekend. Among the items on the agenda, a presentation of the preparation and vision for the next Games, by the organizers of the Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
