German wrestler positive for meldonium

Doping

Is the meldonium epidemic spreading in Western Europe? According to Associated Press, a wrestler from the German champion club, Nendingen, would have tested positive for the same doping product which caused the loss of Maria Sharapova. The admission was made by the German club's lawyer, who did not wish to reveal the identity of the athlete in question. An investigation was launched by the Friborg prosecutor. It could concern several other wrestlers from the same club.
