A Chinese replaces an Indian

Change of leadership at the IAAF Council. The Indian Sureh Kalmadi, sentenced in his country to ten months in prison for a corruption case linked to the Commonwelath Games in 2010, will have to give way to the Chinese Du Zhaocai, vice-president of the Asian Athletics Association. A replacement which should be formalized next month at the IAAF Congress in Moscow. Du Zhaocai is currently overseeing preparations for the 2015 World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
