The population of Zurich was called to the polls to vote in favor of the construction of a new football stadium. And the no won, by a small majority (50,8%). The two local clubs, FC Zurich and Grasshoppers Zurich, will therefore continue to play at home in the old Letzigrund. An enclosure where the European Athletics Championships will be organized in 2014.
