The International Skating Union continues its recruitment drive. On Monday, it announced the appointment of Yihuan Chang to the position of responsible for development and member relationsHe succeeds Becky Cairns, who will now head the skating integrity unit. His role will include strengthen the pathways of athletes, coaches, officials and leaderswhile ensuring that development initiatives are consistent with the growth, unity and good governance objectives of the UIS Vision 2030.
He will play a key role in expand the global reach of skating and expand opportunities in emerging and underrepresented countries. Yihuan will also oversee improvements to members' governance frameworks. He plans over 17 years of experience in sports and has previously held positions within World Rowing, Special Olympics and other sports organizations.
