The stage promises to be only ceremonial, but it will give a slightly more visible dimension to the next edition of Les Jeux de la Francophonie. Designated host city for the sporting and cultural event in 2027, the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, will soon receive the flag of the event. It will be presented to Armenia on Thursday June 27 by the Democratic Republic of Condo (DRC), which organized the 2023 edition in Kinshasa. The ceremony is to be held at the headquarters of l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. It will also be marked by the signing of the agreement between the OIF and Armenia for the holding of the 2027 edition in Yerevan.
