The Organizing Committee of French Alps 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Games has now its athletes' commission. Its composition was approved at the executive board meeting held on Monday. Twenty-two athletes are members, including the skier Arthur Bauchet, who shone at the last Paralympic GamesAnaïs Bescond, a historical figure in the French biathlon team, and Tessa Worley, two-time world champion giant slalom.
Sarah Abitbol (figure skating), Margot Boch (bobsleigh), Alexis Contin (speed skating), Cristobal Huet (ice hockey), Sandra Laoura (freestyle skiing), Maxime Montaggioni (para-snowboard), Carole Montillet (alpine skiing), Pierre Vaultier (snowboard), Benjamin Daviet (para-Nordic skiing), Damien Fleury (ice hockey), Romain Heinrich (bobsleigh), Cécile Hernandez (para-snowboard), Tifany Huot-Marchand (short track speed skating), Victor Muffat-Jeandet (alpine skiing), Clara Rozier (ice hockey), Marie Martinod (freestyle skiing), Axel Clerget (judo), Marie Bochet (skiing) and Thomas Walgraef (boccia) complete the cast.
This commission will ensure that the athletes' voices are heard in the preparation for the Games. It will elect its two co-presidents, a woman and a man, during its first meeting.
