The World Boxing Executive Board has validated the applications of the national boxing federations of France, Croatia, Poland, Iran, Malaysia, Nepal, Turkmenistan and Samoa. They are in line with World Boxing's standards of good governance and credibility, providing guarantees on the transparency of their electoral processes, their anti-doping policy or the recognition they receive from their national Olympic committee. World Boxing President Boris van der Vorst sees this as "further proof of broad support" testified at his instance.
