
Now rich of 78 member federations, World Boxing is gaining momentum. To show its seriousness and convince the IOC to choose it as the body in charge of Olympic boxing, the international federation concluded "a long-term exclusive agreement" with Exceed Boxing to manage and monetize its events and commercial rights. This deal "will significantly improve the work we do to gain IOC recognition", rejoices the president of World Boxing, Boris van der Vorst, who sees it "a sign of confidence in our organization and in our plans". The commercial company will work around competitions, broadcast rights, partnerships, ticketing, merchandise and gaming.
