Who will be the ultimate fan? World Athletics has launched its Ultimate Fan Challenge to find the most passionate athletics fan for the Ultimate Championship, which will be held in Budapest from September 11 to 13. First step: a global question-and-answer competition, which has just startedQuizzes are published every two weeks until June 4th. The man and woman with the highest scores will be invited to Budapest.
A third fan will join them through another contest: from June 20th to July 23rd, fans will be invited to submit an original creation (video, photo, illustration or graphic) showing how they experience athletics on a daily basis. World Athletics will select five finalists and the public will vote to choose the grand winner in August.
These three enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet Usain Bolt and to compete for the title of ultimate fan in September at the Budapest stadium. A way for World Athletics to strengthen its connection with the public, but also to promote its Ultimate Championship, a brand new competition which will bring together world champions, Olympic champions, Diamond League winners and the best athletes of the year.
