Ukrainian athletics dreams of greatness. Its president, Ijor Hotsul, has just announced the country's decision to submit a bid to host the European team championships in 2017. An announcement made following the visit to Kiev of Frenchman Jean Gracia, vice-president President of the European Athletics Association (AEA). If successful, the competition would be organized at the Olympiski stadium in kyiv, completely renovated before the European Football Championships in 2012.
