Its national federation has just announced that it will host the Council of the European Athletics Association (AEA) in kyiv, from May 1 to 4, 2014. Two weeks earlier, Donetsk will have organized the European Combined Events Cup. The city of Ivano-Frankivsk, for its part, applied to host the European Walking Cup in 2015.
