Tricia Smith re-elected as head of the Canadian Olympic Committee

The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) remains confident in Tricia Smith. The Olympic rowing vice-champion was unanimously re-elected president on the occasion of the annual meeting of the COC Session. She has held the position since 2015. " I am incredibly honored to be re-elected president of the COC, she said. The work we do at the COC in support of Canadian athletes and our national sport system is something I am very proud of.”

Four directors were re-elected to the COC board of directors : Marie-Huguette Cormier, Hubert Lacroix, Jaqui Parchment and Saäd Rafi. Cormier has also been appointed Vice-President of the COC Board of Directors. The Board also welcomes two new members : Lara Mussell Savage and Tim Powers.
