Three memoranda of understanding signed between the IWGA and NOCs

The International World Games Association (IWGA) has concluded several memoranda of understanding on the sidelines of the Chengdu World GamesThe NOCs of Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and Slovakia have all signed with the body to lay the foundations for closer cooperation.

« The Games are the perfect opportunity to sign such agreements. Our partners discover the spirit of our event and clearly understand what it means to be part of the World Games family., believes the president of the IWGA, José Perurena. The agreement with Slovakia strengthens our position in EuropeKazakhstan will help us further integrate the World Games into Central Asia, while Saudi Arabia is strengthening the IWGA presence in the Middle East. »

The IWGA now has partnerships with 23 NOCs and national sports organizations around the world. Meanwhile, IWGA Executive Director Joachim Gossow and Deputy Executive Director Guillaume Felli shared « constructive discussions » with the NOCs of the Philippines and Korea regarding their potential interest in hosting the 2033 World Games.
