Three amendments to the Olympic Charter were validated at the 143rd IOC Session. They correspond to a change in the name of three international federations. The World Curling Federation (WCF) thus gives way to World Curling, as the IF will adopt its name in 2024. The acronym WCF therefore disappears. The International Luge Racing Federation is replaced in French by the Fédération internationale de Luge (FIL). "The English name and the acronym remain the same", specifies the IOC. A final adjustment, finally, for the International Ski Federation, which will henceforth be called International Ski and Snowboard Federation. It will nevertheless remain referred to as the FIS in short form. These amendments were adopted following arecommendation of the Legal Affairs Committee of the IOC.
