Rob Stull wanted it, and now it's done: the International Modern Pentathlon Union (UIPM) has launched its world map of obstacle clubs. More than 200 sites are already referenced to guide amateurs or athletes towards the nearest infrastructure so that they can practice this new discipline of modern pentathlon. Users can also access information on the characteristics of the places, contact information and videos.
« The world map of obstacle clubs is a fantastic step forward for our community, welcomes Stull, president of the UIPM. It gives visibility to a growing network of training centers, clubs and gyms, and offers athletes of all levels a pathway into the sport.a question of opportunity, accessibility and inclusion worldwide. » The map is for now well supplied in North America and Europe, but clubs and facilities not yet listed on the map are invited to register by completing an online form.
