Like a whiff of the 2024 Olympic Games. The World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF) has announced the holding of the World Breaking and Hip Hop Championships in ParisFrom December 4th to 6th. Five titles will be up for grabs: two in breaking (men and women) and three in hip hop freestyle (1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, and team). The competitions will take place at the adidas Arena, which had hosted rhythmic gymnastics and badminton during the Paris Olympics 2024.
Charles Ferreira, president of the French Dance Federation, applauded this award: The French Dance Federation welcomes the WDSF's decision. It is the result of several months of work and consultation with our institutional partners. At the crossroads of sport, culture, and leisure, this event represents a fantastic opportunity to promote dance, all dances, throughout France and across all our territories. "Some 12.000 spectators are expected."
