The first meeting of the obstacle working group of the International Modern Pentathlon Union (UIPM) was held on June 18. Bringing together members of the pentathlon and obstacle community, this task force was created with the objective of facilitate the integration of national modern pentathlon federations into the obstacle ecosystemThis first meeting emphasized three guiding principles: cooperation, consultation and communication. An action plan will be published in July to present the roadmap, priorities and key dates.
UIPM President Rob Stull praised the success of the meeting, which enabled " energize the process "This year 2025 marks a turning point for the FI since the obstacle has officially replaced equestrian in the Elite category and that the first Obstacle World Championships will be organized this fall in China.
