The cities of Bonn and Duisburg will host the fourth International Paralympic Committee Athletes' Forum from June 24 to 26. Athlete representatives will be invited in Bonn, at the IPC headquarters, on a first day marked by the inauguration of the new IPC campus. They will then stop in Duisburg for the next two days, at the Sportschule Wedau campus, which already hosted the very first Athletes' Forum in 2017.
"The IPC Athletes' Forum is an essential gathering for the athletic community and a great opportunity to learn from everyone, underlines Vladyslava Kravchenko, President of the IPC Athletes' Council. Whether we meet athletes from nations where the Movement is already thriving or athletes from nations where the Movement is still emerging, this Forum offers a platform allowing everyone to share their experiences and his knowledge. At the end of the event, We hope that all participants will feel more connected, more informed and strengthened.” Mike Peters, Executive Director of the International Paralympic Committee, encourages all IPC members to send their representatives. In 2023, around sixty representatives of the Movement responded to the call in South Korea.
