The 2033 edition has started

World Games

No time to waste. The International World Games Association (IWGA) has launched its call for bids for the 2033 edition of the multi-sport event reserved for non-Olympic disciplines. It has just published the “Bid Book 2033”, a thick document that compiles a questionnaire, the roadmap for the host city selection process, and the body’s requirements in the areas of infrastructure, sustainability, athlete accommodation and community engagement projects. Its publication officially opens the application period for the 2033 World Games. The next two editions have been awarded to Chengdu (China) for 2025 (August 7-17), and Karlsruhe (Germany) for 2029 (July 19-29).
