Swimming World Cup heads to North America

Composed of three 100% Asian stages in 2024 (China, South Korea, Singapore), the Swimming World Cup will cross the Pacific Ocean to land in North America this year. Three rounds will take place in the fall: two in the United States and one in Canada.The first will be held in Carmel, Indiana (October 10-12). Swimmers will dive into the brand new 50-meter pool at the Carmel High School Swim Complex.The World Cup had already stopped nearby, in Indianapolis, in 2022 – an opportunity for Australian Kyle Chalmers, South African Chad le Clos and American Nic Fink to climb to the top step of the podium.

Westmont, Illinois, will host the second leg (October 17-19). The competition will take place at the FMC Natatorium, a complex inaugurated in 2020. The Toronto Pan Am Sports Center, finally, will allow swimmers to compete one last time (October 23-25). More than a million dollars will be distributed in prize money. Leon Marchand and Kate Douglass had won the general classification last year.
