The 33rd Southeast Asian Games The tournament opens this Tuesday in Bangkok, where the very first edition took place in 1959. Eleven nations will be participating. competition until December 20th : Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Brunei and East Timor. 13,657 athletes will compete in 50 sportsranging from Olympic disciplines to traditional regional sports. The events take place in Bangkok and the Chonburi region.
