The board of directors of the Paris 2024 Endowment Fund met on January 8 and 13 at the Maison du Sport français. It approved financial support for 13 projects, for a total amount of 3,27 million (out of an available budget of €4,64 million). The vast majority of these are part of the promotion and development of the practice.
Two projects are being led by the sports movement across the entire national territory: the Olympic and Paralympic week, the tenth edition of which will take place from March 30 to April 4, with youth engagement as its theme, as well as the Inclusive Club program, which raises awareness and trains clubs on welcoming people with disabilities.
Nine projects are being led by local authorities. A number of actions fall under the purview of learning to swim, particularly in the Île-de-France region. Projects forsocial inclusion through sportThe development of sport for all, and the development of sport in public spaces, are also concerned.
Two athlete support projects were also selected: an action plan coordinated by the CNOSF to improve the mental health of athletes, as well as the maintenance and development project of the national training center of the French Rowing Federation in Vaires-sur-Marne.
