The Lima 2027 Organizing Committee has unveiled the official logo of the XX Pan American Games in history at the Panam Sports Assembly in Asuncion. He honored the greatest symbol of Peru, Machu Picchu, and reflects " diversity and traditions " of the country, underlines Federico Tong, president of the organizing committee.

From Lima, the roads lead to Los Angeles 2028, assures the president of the Peruvian Olympic Committee, Renzo Manyari. Our torch is a Peruvian symbol for the world, it is the fire that is born from Machu Picchu and the whole form of Huayna Picchu. »

This logo " fully reflects the identity, passion and particularities of all Peru, as well as the union of all America ", said the president of Panam Sports, Neven Ilic. The Pan American Games in Lima will take place from July 16 to August 1, 2027 and will bring together 7.000 athletes.
