Junior Pan American Games pay tribute to Paraguayan music

100 days before the start of the event, the medals of the 2025 Junior Pan American Games were unveiled in Asunción, at the Ignacio A. Pane Municipal Theater. They make tribute to the musical culture of Paraguay, as the organizing committee explains: “ Inspired by Guarania, a musical expression that embodies the Paraguayan soul, the medal was presented with an emotional reinterpretation of Jejuí, the first guarania composed by José Asunción Flores, the father of the genre. » The front of the medal presents thus: the musical notes of Jejuí, on a spiral staff, which follows the curves of the medal. On the back, is inscribed “Tribute to the centenary of Guarania: Jejuí”These Junior Pan American Games will take place in Asunción from August 9 to 23. 1 medals will be awarded during the competition.
