The International Handball Federation (IHF) has found its new headquartersThe IHF has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire a state-of-the-art building in Basel, Switzerland, close to the Old Town. It will be the center of the IHF's global activities and will offer " an inspiring and modern environment that reflects the Federation's values of excellence, innovation and resilience "The IHF will move in in October.
This six-story building, with a area of 4.869 square meters, will include " state-of-the-art offices, spaces dedicated to innovation and training, environmentally friendly architecture and larger meeting spaces to accommodate delegations and stakeholders from around the world "It will also be part of the IHF Museum.
"This new headquarters is more than just a building, it is a symbol of our ambitions, says IHF President Dr. Hassan Moustafa. The IHF is growing rapidly, this new building will allow us to better serve our member federations, our athletes, our coaches and our fans around the world. It will be a place where ideas are born, where strategic decisions are made and where the heart of international handball beats stronger than ever."
