New headquarters for a new era. The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) has made its future move official through a press release. The Turin City Councilhas just approved the renovation and rejuvenation project of a building in the historic district of San Donato-Campidoglio. The IFSC will set up its headquarters there. It will accommodate its staff and will allow manage all day-to-day operational activitiesof the federation. “As our sport has grown, so has the IFSC staff, points out Piero Rebaudengo, general director of the IFSC. For our staff and members, being in Turin from the beginning, we wanted to stay in the Olympic city." The IFSC is indeed based in Turin since 2007. "It's an ambitious project, but it's a project worth doing, assures Rebaudengo. We will have a place that the IFSC and the city of Turin can be proud of. We have over 100 member federations around the world, and this new headquarters will be a welcoming place for them all ». The IFSC also maintains a shared office in Lausanne, and its legal headquarters in Bern.
