IOC visits Alps to 'understand risks and opportunities' of 2030 project

An IOC delegation traveled to the French Alps to an official visit, from April 22 to 24. The representatives of the body were thus able to exchange with the project stakeholders and familiarize themselves with the future competition sites of the 2030 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. "These three days have allowed us to demonstrate the commitment of the territories, the progress of the reflections and the quality of exchanges with the IOC. We continue the construction of a project that meets the challenges of our time », says Edgar Grospiron, president of COJOP. Nice, La Clusaz, Briançon, Montgenèvre, Courchevel, Le Grand-Bornand and Serre Chevalier: the IOC delegation saw the country, accompanied by representatives of COJOP, Solideo and the host regions.
