Australia trusts safe values. Its national Olympic committee (AOC) did not wait for the symbolic date of D – 100 days before the opening of the Paris 2024 Games to unveil the official outfits of the delegation next summer in France. Without the slightest surprise, they use the usual runners, yellow and green. Presented this Thursday, March 7 in Sydney, at the Botanical Park, the Paris 2024 collection from Team Australia incorporates Aboriginal motifs, designed by a former Olympic boxer, Paul Fleming, and by a Torres Strait artist, David Bosun. Entitled “ Walking Together », Paul Fleming's artwork symbolizes the Olympic Games as a place where people from all countries, backgrounds and cultures come together. The outfits also feature a new Japanese arrow-shaped graphic. At the 2024 Paris Games, the Australian delegation is expected to be one of the largest, with 460 to 480 athletes, and a presence in 30 sports on the program.
